The Kientalerhof lies at the foot of the impressive Blümlisalp glacier in the Bernese Oberland.

The over one hundred year old house, with beautiful seminar rooms, together with the idyllic surroundings, create the ideal environment for seminars of all kinds. We offer you a calming, quiet and relaxing atmosphere in the Kientalerhof, right in the middle of the stunning Swiss mountains.

For your seminars there are 5 light and welcoming rooms, ranging from 40m² to 150m² in size.

During your breaks or free time, you can enjoy our garden, pool (summer only), fireplace and sauna. All of which makes staying with us in summer a wonderful experience. In winter the Kiental turns into a beautiful winter wonder land, where you can sledge, ski or just go for a quiet hike enjoying the views of frozen waterfalls, see everything covered in thick snow and then relax in the sauna in the evening.

If you want to relax further, guests can also take part in our free morning Qi Gong exercises or enjoy a Shiatsu- Craniosacral- or Ayurvedic Massage in our treatment centre.

So, no matter if you are planning a seminar on process- or body work, if you want to offer a dance or music workshop

or you want to practice yoga or meditation, our seminar rooms and surroundings are the perfect place for you. We are also equipped for business meetings or business training seminars, which you can hold here, away from the stresses and distractions of the normal work life.

All the meals at the Kientalerhof are prepared with love and imagination and are mainly vegetarian. A balanced diet is important to us and we use un-processed and organic products wherever possible.

Furthermore we have a bar with organic snacks, beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks. In addition there is a shop with interesting books, CDs, body care products & accessories and a cosy library.

Due to the great Swiss public transport system we are easily reachable in summer and as well as in winter.

Our hotel rooms are simply furnished but clean and comfortable. We took the decision to not have TVs or radios in the rooms so that our guest can fully concentrate on the seminar they are taking part in and do not get distracted. The following rooms are in the house:

This summer (2010) we still have a few free dates on which you could hire one or more of our rooms for your seminar. If your ideal date is not on the list, please contact us anyway as there can always be changes to the schedule. We can accommodate smaller seminars of up to 15 people most of the time - please call with your desired dates and ask for availability.

23^rd - 26^th August 2010: Lecture Hall, Dojo, Maple Leaf or Lotus; accommodation for apprx. 80 people.

30^th August - 5^th September 2010: Lecture Hall (for quiet courses), Maple Leaf (until 3^rd Sep) and Lotus; accommodation for apprx. 50 people.
