Continued Education in the Form of postgraduate Diplomas |
|
|
|
New: Attending continued education training courses can lead to various postgraduate diplomas
Bodywork therapists must attend continued education courses to keep their EMR recognition. And hereby one runs the risk of taking continued education rather randomly and without concept and which does not rsult in a lasting increase of competence. Therefor we offer a continued education concept that is composed of modules and that leads to different diplomas in the field of continued education. We offer continued education training courses for therapist of Shiatsu, Cranio, Osteopathy as well as for other forms of bodywork.
The three levels for getting the post-diploma:
1 Confirmation continued education in (field of specialization) (80 hours)
2 Certificate continued education in (field of specialization) (160 hours)
3 Diploma continued education in (field of specialization) (240 hours)
Each level contains at least 80 course-hours. So you need 240 hours for the post-diploma. We offer different fields of specialization, although not all the same courses are offered for each field. Prerequisite for a post-diploma is a completed education in a body-therapy such as Shiatsu, Craniosacral-therapy, Osteopathy and others.
Fields of specialization
For the continued education training courses the following fields of specialization are designated:
• Myofascial and trigger point therapy (Myo)
• Shiatsu (only for Shiatsu-therapists) (Sh)
• Cranio/ Osteopathy (only for Cranio-therapists and/or Osteopaths) (Cr)
• Trauma healing (Tr)
• integrative Coaching (iC)
Curriculum Continued Education Training Course
All courses of the continued education section of the Kientalerhof course program can be counted for the continued education training course. Continued education courses you have already attended in former years can be accredited individually upon request. For each field of specialization there are an amount of specifically marked courses you need to take. You can get that information from the table below. At least 65% of the courses taken must be specially marked for the field of specialization. 35% can be chosen freely (category “optional”). The list of courses that can be accredited will be updated on a yearly basis, according to the course program.
