All Methods

Kientalerhof Campus for Body Therapy

We have been training body therapists for over 30 years. In many methods we were among the pioneers in Switzerland, for example in Shiatsu. Together with our renowned teachers, we are constantly evolving our educations and rainings. Find out more about what we offer and our numerous programs.

Life in flow with Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a form of natural healing, a modern method of therapeutic bodywork that has its origins in Japan. Touch is the essence of Shiatsu. Shiatsu therapists use the simplest tool of humans: the hands. The self-healing mechanisms of the recipient are activated and lead to a clearer perception of well-being in body, mind and soul. Shiatsu connects us with the fundamental things in life.

Craniosacral Therapy: Hand, heart and silence

The biodynamic craniosacral therapy is a body therapy method that uses gentle touches on the clothed body to strengthen the self-healing powers. Cranio therapists connect with the healthy and whole of the human being and come into contact with what the founder W. Sutherland called the breath of life – a wisdom in the body that ensures healthy development and unfolding from womb to old age.

Trager Therapy: The question for lightness

As a child we move naturally, full of vitality, easily and loosely. In the course of life many people lose this feeling of lightness and freedom in their lives. As Trager therapists, we show our clients how to become more mobile in everyday life and how to find a way back to a pleasant feeling. Milton Trager’s method is a highly developed form of integrative touch, which can be learned without prior knowledge.

Welcome to the New Website of the Campus Kientalerhof thumbnail

Welcome to the New Website of the Campus Kientalerhof

Welcome to the new website of the Kientalerhof. We hope that our guests, course participants and students will like it and that all content can be found quickly. One of the aims of the new website is to make the various fields of activity of the Kientalerhof more clearly understandable to our guests and customers. The Kientalerhof as an educational institution offers numerous education and further training courses in the field of body therapy. This focus is also clearly expressed on the new homepage. The ChieneHuus on the other hand, opened in 2018, is more targeted at holidaymakers and those seeking relaxation, who for example visit us for a fasting or ayurveda cure or a yoga retreat. Therefore our second homepage, www.chienehuus.ch, is aimed at a different audience than the Kientalerhof site. We hope you enjoy exploring the new website and we are always happy to receive praise or criticism.

New organic swimming pond is officially open

The Kientalerhof campus is probably the only school with an organic swimming pond. This summer we had the pleasure to open it and since then it has been used a lot. The system works completely without filter systems or additives. The cleaning is done by the type of construction and the plants themselves. Only a few organic nutrient additives have been added to support plant growth. It takes two to three years for the plant diversity to reach its final state. We are looking forward to many atmospheric summer evenings with happy people in the newly designed garden.

The Kientalerhof exists since 1985 in his current form, initially as a centre for macrobiotics. Gradually, the offer changed and the first body therapy training courses were held, for example in Shiatsu. Today, the Campus Kientalerhof offers a wide range of body therapy training and continuing education courses (EMR/ASCA compliant), surrounded by beautiful nature. Various shorter courses on the subject of personal development, which are open to all interested parties, form a further part of our offer.
