Although we do not know any anatomical substrate for the self, it is undisputed that there is such a thing as self-perception, a sense of self. In order to feel the self, we are invited to feel our body.
So if we work on body awareness and learn to feel and name our body sensations and feelings more clearly and regularly, we create the most important prerequisite for inhabiting ourselves. In this way we direct our attention to the perception of our inner life.
In this path of awareness we experience more well-being, liveliness, contentment, the ability to relate, authenticity, serenity, access to meaning, maintenance of health, creativity and the feeling of being part of a larger whole.
