Level 3b - Masunaga Meridian Shiatsu Part 2
Course contentThis course focuses on the second half of the meridians of Masunaga's meridian system as applied in Zen Shiatsu. The first day of the course is dedicated to reviewing the first half of the meridians so that students feel comfortable with it before the second half is taught. The two extraordinary vessels, Conceptual and Governing Vessels, will also be addressed. Working with meridians, along with new techniques (including working in the lateral position, as well as new neck and hara techniques), offers a variety of new treatment options. The importance of the 'home' of an energetic organ/meridian as the focus of a treatment is deepened, as is fine energetic work in deep rhythm. Furthermore, there is an insight into the system of the so-called Bo points, and how they can be used in a treatment.
