Dr. Anna GAMMA

is a psychologist, author and Zen master. She is a member of the White Plum Asanga and leader of the international Sangha Open Circle. Her Zen practice began in the late 1970s with Father Lassalle. In 2003 Pia Gyger Roshi and Niklaus Brantschen Roshi appointed her as a Zen teacher. In 2012 she received the confirmation as Zen Master (Roshi) with Inka Shomei and the Dharma name Myoan Kanzeon Maria. She heads the Zen Center Open Circle in Lucerne, which she founded together with Gerhard Hüppi in 2006.
