Education of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Level 2
The autonomic nervous system, ist effects on a person and biodynamic possibilities of regulation
Course contentWe learn about the autonomic nervous system (ANS) and ist relationship to silence and the primary forces. The biological regulation of emotions and stress are steered by the ANS. If it is in a chronic state of adaptation to stressful living conditions, then the access to silence, to the breath of life and ist potency are weakened and they can no longer develop their regulatory power sufficiently in the body. This can produce a variety of symptoms, physically, emotionally, it can affect our attitudes, our relationships with other people and the world.
The primary forces operate in a self-organizing and self-regulating way when the practitioners skills and knowledge get in contact with it. The breath of life and the potency are the basis for comprehensive health. Once the ANS has arrived back in his inherent ability to regulate itself, a dynamic state of equilibrium comes alive. This is a state of receptivity which opens the body for a deeper healing potential and self-correcting phenomena.
We learn a model of healing that involves the whole person with his history. This model is based on the perception of a relationship between the breath of life, the body, the emotions, the thoughts and the human environment. The PRS (primary respiration system) is considered a complex unfolding of the life breath, which continues through the entire body.
We note in this process that all parties are good in their power, in contact with their resources and with the present moment. Healing happens in the present.
Course aimParticipants learn to read the signs of the ANS and are introduced to basic steps how to support the regulation of those processes in a client. They understand the relationship between brain and nervous system. You get more tools for verbal guidance of therapeutic processes and for stimulating the client's own activity for their path of healing.
